UNF Ospreys Beat North Alabama 4-1 in ASUN Tournament

The University of North Florida defeated North Alabama 4-1 in the ASUN Softball Tournament, with sophomore pitcher Taylor Cook throwing a complete game and center fielder Kalyn McCarthy going 3-for-3.

UNF’s win marks the first time a team has won twice in the ASUN tournament. Cook, 9-5, allowed only one walk and four hits, while McCarthy hit .435 over her last 12 games. The Ospreys advance to face Stetson in the winner’s bracket on May 7. fishroad-app.com
